Portraits
Figurative drawing was the only thing that really interested me; basically portraits. In my life drawing classes I would often draw the students near me or the model’s faces. I was mostly into drawing and found painting a bit difficult although I could muddle my way through. I just like the feel of a pencil on paper and working with tone - color was a different animal I generally avoided. These portraits are a mixed bag: some done for friends (their kids), some from life drawing and some from illustration samples.
