Illustrations

In 1979 I began illustrating book covers and catalogue inserts for UNC Press and found I really enjoyed the new challenge. When I returned to NYC in 1981, I began creating illustrations for a portfolio I could show to generate work. I picked up some article insert drawings for Business week and a few other editorial magazines but no Time covers!! I became involved with the Image Bank photo agency and the rest was history. Photography took over my focus and Illustration took a back seat. Such is life. These images are from the early 1980s.
